Both a handheld torch and a standing lamp, this dual-purpose product exploits the attributes of silicone to achieve its purposes. Utilizing the malleability of silicone I was able to create a seamless, simple and intuitive system for moving between the two options while maintaining the integrity of the minimalistic design.
Being a mobile product, I chose silicone for its durability and the protection it affords the inner plastic parts. Whether in the house, a tent or on the trail, The flip torch is light, comfortable to hold, stable on uneven surfaces and dependable.
